2008 - GAYNOR & MONTY - Loch Lomond Celebrity Wedding

Björn Again were personally invited to play at Gaynor Knowles and Colin Montgomeries society wedding of the year. It was a perfect evening and great fun to be part of the celebration at Loch Lomond Golf Course with a host of celebrities including Prince Andrew, Sir Jackie Stewart, Jodie Kidd, Kirstie Gallacher, Sam Torrance, Alan Hansun, Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood, Dougie Donnelly and Gavin Hastings.

2007 - AGNETHA FÄLTSKOG - TV3 / TV6 20th Anniversary Party

Björn Again played at Sweden's TV3 / TV6 20th Anniversary Party which was attended by loads of Celebrities most notably Agnetha Fältskog (pictured left) Agnetha was a delightful person to meet and chat with. She really is as beautiful and elegant as ever. Agnetha was inquisitive about Björn Again and remarked on how much she enjoyed seeing our choreography .. she had danced the night away with her friends.

     
 

2007 - TONY BLACKBURN - 19th Anniversary Tour DJ Voiceover

Björn Again's 19th Anniversary tour featured the voice of Tony Blackburn as both Host and DJ. The recording session for this was great fun and many thanks go to the legendary star of radio and TV for doing this.

     
 

2007 - KEW GARDENS SUMMER SWING

Björn Again played to a packed sold out audience at London's Historic Kew Gardens. 5,000 people of all ages attended and witnessed a magical evening of music headed up by the Allstars. After a break for more food and wine (or a soft drink) everybody got into the mood for a boogie and sing along with Björn Again followed by a fireworks display. This was a great evening in a great setting.

     
 

2006 - KYLIE MINOGUE WEMBLEY NYE

WOW!!!!! What a great way to see in the new year. Björn Again went on stage to a packed Wembley audience of 11,000 for a 45 minute show. Kylie was seen backstage dancing to Björn Again whilst she was preparing for her own show. Kylie also made time to come into the bandroom and say thanks for the great show before going out and doing a killer show herself. It was a real spectacle.

     
 

2006 - JASPER CARROTT's ROCK with LAUGHTER

"Jasper invited Björn Again to play along with Lenny Henry, Jethro, Suzi Quatro, Roy Wood, Journey South, Jimmy Carr, the Birmingham Royal Ballet, Jimmy Tarbuck, Tony Christie and Ben from X-Factor. It was a great four nights at the NEC. We partied on every night .... a great way to spend the week leading up to Christmas. Many thanks again to Jasper, Steve Hutt, Su Skinner et al..."

     
 

2006 - J.K. ROWLING MASQUERADE BALL

"The famous Harry Potter Author personally invited Björn Again to appear at the Venetian-style fundraising Ball held at Stirling Castle in aid of Scotland's MS society. Various celebrities such as Lorraine Kelly, Robbie Coltrane and Neil Morrissey were in attendance at this great event which raised over £200,000 ........ I even managed to get my copy of 'The Half-Blood Prince' signed..."

     
 

2005 - GREENDAY OXEGEN FESTIVAL

"Undoubtedly one of the biggest bands in the world are the San Francisco trio Greenday. They headlined at Oxegen (Ireland’s biggest festival event) and together with MCD's Dennis Desmond (Ireland’s biggest festival promoter) invited us to close the evening after their mammoth two hour show. Tens of thousands of devout greenday fans went from singing ‘American idiot’ to singing ‘Dancing Queen’ during our set. The lads gave us a ‘we are not worthy’ salute after the show....thanks guys.

     
 

2005 - When BLUE PETER "faking it" became ABBA

Björn Again appeared on this "Faking It" TV special with Zoe Ball's group of ex Blue Peter Presenters Peter Duncan, Stuart Miles, Romano D'Annunzio and Janet Ellis. The challenge was for the "group" to perform Dancing Queen in place of Björn Again in front of the 80,000 strong Oxegen Festival Crowd. They just about got away with it. Zoe came on stage to inform the stunned audience of what had just happened. Both bands then played out with "Thank you for the music"

     

 

2005 - BJÖRN AGAIN - Royal Albert Hall Concert - IKEA

Björn Again's Royal Albert Hall Concert Performance was beamed to tens of thousands of shoppers on multiple video screens throughout Belgium's Anderlecht Ikea Super Store for it's Grand Opening. With the obvious connections to Iconic Swedish Exports it was an honour and a pleasure to represent SWEDEN, ABBA and IKEA in this way.

     
 

2005 - RADIO TIMES ABBA PRESENTATION

"In January 2005 Björn Again" were asked to receive this 2004 Radio Times award on behalf of ABBA in acknowledgement of 30 years since their monumental Eurovision victory at the Brighton Dome in 1974.

Björn Again proudly accepted the award dressed in the classic ABBA Kimono Costumes in front of a huge celebrity audience at the Savoy in London.

     
 

2004 - On tour with SHANIA TWAIN (üP! Tour)

"Shania and her famous producer husband Mutt Lange had seen us perform in Switzerland. They told me they both loved the show and subsequently invited us to support her in Hyde park in 2003 and then again on her monster 2004 UK - European üP! Tour.

We all had a great time and made some great new friends on that huge tour”

     
 

2004 - BENEFIT CONCERT in Honour of MALCOLM KINGSNORTH

Mal Kingsnorth had been working as a tour manager and sound engineer for Björn Again since 1998 up until his sudden death in 2004. Mal was great at doing his job(s) but moreover was a wonderful and lovely person to spend time with. The benefit was held at the Oxford new theatre and featured BILLY CONNOLLY, KEVIN BLOODY WILSON, BJÖRN AGAIN and T*40 whom Mal had worked with for many years. Mal we all miss you dearly and loved you very much.

 
   
 

2004 - On tour with CHER (Farewell Tour)

"Cher’s management had heard from Shania’s management that we were a fun band to have supporting on tour. With that recommendation we were offered the support slot on her massive 2004 European Farewell Tour..A great Show and the catering was the best ever !!!”

   
 

2003 - RUSSELL CROWE’S WEDDING

"The Australian movie star had us specially flown in to play at his wedding with Danielle Spencer in Australia. It was a lavish celebrity
studded affair. The couple exchanged vows in the specially rebuilt chapel on his ranch. Guests included Gladiator director Ridley Scott and cricketer Shane Warne. Telegrams of congratulations were sent in by absent guests Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas as well as George Bush. The reception featured performances from Crowe's band 30 Odd Foot Of Grunts and Björn Again.

   
 

1999 - HARRODS 150th Anniversary

"Björn Again were invited as special guests to perform at the famous Knightsbridge landmark in celebration of 150 years as a department store. Mohamed Al Fayed was seen dancing the night away with his guests at this most stunning and historic venue.

   
 

1998 - SPICE GIRLS (SPICEWORLD TOUR)

"Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisolm were holidaying in Dublin in 1997 and came to see Björn Again at the Point Theatre. Geri suggested to the other girls that Björn Again should support them on the last leg of their “Spice World” Tour in 1998. David Beckham was also there at the Old Wembley Stadium (without his ‘kit’ on though!!!)”

   
 

1997 - HONG KONG HANDOVER

Björn Again was invited to play at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club as the "Official Band" to mark this historic occasion.

 
After Prince Charles and Govenor Chris Patton had done their royal and diplomatic speeches and symbolically sailed on QE2 out of the harbour, Björn Again hit the stage still wondering why the powers that be would invite a band originating from Australia that impersonate Swedes to perform on what was English soil that had just been handed back to the Chinese government ....... Confused ??? I certainly was but it was still great.
   
 

1994 - MURIEL'S WEDDING PREMIER CANNES

Björn Again received an invition from a big fan of the band - Writer and Director P.J Hogan to perform at the World premier of the movie ‘Muriel’s Wedding’ at the Cannes Film Festival in 1994 which ended up with a party on the Miramax yacht with the likes of Duran Duran and Toni Collette.

1992 BENNY & BJÖRN STOCKHOLM MEETING

Benny and Björn Invited Björn Again to meet up with them in Stockholm in 1992. This meeting and the increasing international demand for Björn Again inspired ABBA to release their hugely successful ABBA Gold CD which is still in the album charts to this day. The initial promotional swing for the release of ABBA Gold started with an invite from Benny and Björn for Björn Again to perform some of their hits on National Swedish Televison.

     
 

1992 BBC TOP OF THE POPS - "A LITTLE RESPECT"

"Erasure had seen Björn Again perform which inspired their successful Abba-esque EP in turn inspiring Björn Again's release - “Erasure-ish” which included the single “A Little Respect” and "Stop" reaching a respectable No. 25 in the UK charts with the highlight being a performance on the legendary program BBC’s Top of the Pops.

The ailing M&G record company certainly did show "a little respect" with their lack of foresight and low production values which was mostly the problem ..
