BJÖRN AGAIN is currently touring the UK. The tour will again feature the voice of Tony Blackburn. This promises to be a great night out for people of all ages.

I am seeing loads more children at Björn Again shows as a result of the success of Mamma Mia. This really is fantastic as it makes the show all the more fun.

2009 - GIMME GIMME GIMME a really great workout.

Björn Again recordings from the Royal Albert Hall are featured in this new workout DVD. The DVD goes on sale Boxing day 2008.

2008 - BJÖRN AGAIN - 20th ANNIVERSARY Shows

Björn Again has finally reached a huge milestone. Many thanks to all the band and crew, promoters AAA and DfC, Paul Franklin and Helter Skelter, Cheryl, Mike and Shelley and the Original Bucks Fizz band, Tony Blackburn and Pat Sharp for making the two shows at The Glagow Clyde Auditorium and the London Hammersmith Apollo such a memorable occasion. Thanks also to the BBC for reporting on the celebrations (see below). Both shows were sold out and from my vantage point on the Bass riser i could see thousands of people having a great time - thanks again to everyone involved - Rod

MAMMA MIA the film

Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth join Meryl Streep in the movie version of the popular ABBA musical. The story revolves around a bride-to-be (Amanda Seyfried) and her formerly rebellious mom (Streep) who raised her on a Greek island and never disclosed the identity of her father. The bride locates three men who might be her father and invites them to her wedding. Brosnan will play the main father figure. The musical features 22 ABBA songs directed by Phyllida Lloyd; Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Tom Hanks are executive producers.

TV3 / TV6 STOCKHOLM 20th Anniversary party 23rd Nov 2007

TV3 / TV6's 20th celebration was a great night. There were loads of celebrities most notably Agnetha Faltskog who was pictured having a great time dancing (right) to Björn Again.

BBC Comedy - Perfect World

BJÖRN AGAIN has been asked for permission by the BBC to use a recording of Dancing Queen to be used on this programme to be released on DVD.

BJÖRN AGAIN were special guests for the Hilton in the Community Foundation Ball.

Björn Again is asked to do a lot of charity work and I'm pleased to have worked with Production Plus on this event which Hilton has selected "Make a wish" the 2007 beneficiary. Monies raised will grant magical wishes to children with life-threatening illness - Rod

BJÖRN AGAIN and Russell Watson (in place of Katherine Jenkins) provided the pre-match entertainment for the Rugby Super League Grand Final where Leeds Rhinos won over St Helen's Saints 33 - 6.

BJÖRN AGAIN were invited to perform at the Skandia Cow(e)s Week in August to raise funds for the Dame Ellen MacArthur trust. This wonderful charity enables very sick children the opportunity to have time away from hospital to experience some sailing.

Alastair Campbell in York

Alastair Campbell, a self-confessed ABBA fan and the former press secretary to Tony Blair, was in York to promote his new book - The Blair Years. He said: "I went for a run when I arrived in York last night and as I was running down the Ouse I heard Dancing Queen being sung really loud.

"It was pretty authentic and I thought ABBA had come back. I have to admit I'm a bit of an ABBA fan and I tried to follow the noise to see where it was coming from." BJÖRN AGAIN performed at the 13th consecutive Hopley's Charity Evening in Hertfordshire. The purpose was to raise funds for Motor Neurone charity whilst having a good time with music, dancing, picnics and fireworks (and trying to dodge the rain).

BJÖRN AGAIN performed at the "Music & Gardens for a Summer Evening" at the NEC in Birmingham sponsored by The Highways Agency.

It was a sold out show with the idyllic backdrop of picturesque show gardens.

KENWOOD 2007 Summer Concerts axed !

THE POPULAR summer concert season in the grounds of Hampstead's Kenwood House - attended by tens of thousands of people each year - has been axed after 55 years.

Protests from residents including actor Warren Mitchell (pictured left in front of the lake stage) about the noise, the silly moo-sic, the litter and traffic congestion, meant the 2006 series which featured Björn Again, Art Garfunkel and Ronan Keating was the very last to be seen (and heard)

.... It's a real shame that such a great annual event has to end. Last years concert was great fun and we went to the "Last night of the Proms" night which was another great evening......

EDINBURGH MURRAYFIELD - Party on the pitch ..... It was a great concert. over 5,000 people gathered for a great day of music from Led Astray, Killer Queen, Bootleg Beatles and of course Björn Again.

DUBLIN, The LATE LATE Show EUROSONG 2007

BJÖRN AGAIN appeared on the late late show with Pat Kenny friday 16th feb as part of Ireland's Eurosong 2007. There were 750,000 viewers (60% of the people watching at that time)

County Sligo based traditional Irish band DERVISH represented Ireland at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in HELSINKI with "They can't stop the spring" - written by John Waters and Tommy Moran.

BJÖRN BORG

The cover of the July 1979 edition of Sports Illustrated shows BJÖRN BORG on the way to winning his 4th Wimbledon title. The Headline reads .... BJORN AGAIN (without the dots over the Ö!!)....How dare they pinch that name ....... years before i thought it up..!!!

A trademark agreement is in place between BJÖRN BORG and BJÖRN AGAIN dictating that underwear isn't sold as a merchandise item ..... This was agreed on the grounds that BJÖRN BORG doesn't dress up in costumes and play ABBA songs...!! LOVE ALL !!

This car is attracting so much attention. It has a special "ABBA" number plate and a little mirror-ball and a sign saying "NO PLATFORM SHOES ARE KEPT IN THIS VEHICLE OVERNIGHT !!"

WELSH Rugby Team wear "BRAWN AGAIN" Shirts

The Welsh national rugby team were seen sporting their "Brawn Again" shirts in the 6 Nations match against France. Wales went on to beat England 27 - 18 in the final match.

"It was great to have been involved in the sponsorship of this very popular 6 Nations RBS Rugby Union tournament. BJÖRN AGAIN went on to be booked to appear at a corporate event for RBS - Royal Bank of Scotland in Birmingham."

OPERATION ST£RLING - The Winner Takes It All

Rod received a special request from Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Dark from the Metropolitan Police for permission to use BJÖRN AGAIN's recording of "The Winner takes it all" in a short film highlighting how OPERATION ST£RLING in conjunction with WESTERN UNION aims to combat the rise of 'high volume' fraud.
